| As early as 55 years
ago, Omar Kassem Alesayi emerged as a prominent businessman in the Arabian Penunsula.
Altough his initial success was established as a textile merchant (dealing with textile
manufacturers since 1945), he soon moved on to even larger business ventures. Ventures
that begar to lay the foundations for becoming one of the largest distributors and
retailers in the Kingdom.
Omar Kassem Alesayi had the foresight to recognize the immense potential for future economic development in Saudi Arabia. Hence, through tenacious and focused efforts, he began to map out the course his business would take – soon making all his dreams come true with the birth of the O.K. Alesayi Conglomerate. Ever since then there was no turning back. The O.K. Alesayi company has grown by leaps and bounds. Today, the O.K. Alesayi conglomerate consists of over 75 companies, employing over 6,000 staff members, with over 55 years of distribution and retailing experience, in over 200 retail stores.
